Chris HartfieldPrincipalSavant International
Chris Hartfield has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and a track-record of several company directorships. Chris has been one of the industry pioneers in introducing western construction consulting services to Central and Eastern Europe and CIS. He first visited Russia in 1987 looking for consultancy opportunities and established permanent offices there in 1991. Since, he has established a number of other offices in Central Europe during the past 15 years. At Savant Chris is specifically responsible for Central Europe.
Chris has also had a fundamental role in the development of construction management and value management techniques in the UK. He was a founder member and past Chairman of the Institute of Value management. He has also been actively involved in a number of other professional organisations and has participated on committees of various institutions.
Chris’s project input is focused on strategic matters, due diligence studies, contract and tender document formulation, value management and investment appraisals. He also advises on contractual claims and is an expert in mediation. His current and past clients include organisations such as EBRD, SAB Miller, Pfizer, BSR Europe, Citibank, Rank Xerox, IBM, British Airways, Carrefour and Unilever. |
