Maciej Olex-Szczytowski is President (Chief Executive Officer) of the Military Property Agency (MPA), the Logistics Agency for the Polish Military. The Armed Forces are one of Poland’s largest owners of real estate, much of it currently surplus to requirements. The MPA is tasked with disposing of this surplus. Sites located in the major cities and elsewhere are continually transferred to the MPA for sale, or for investment in joint ventures alongside commercial developers and investors.
Mr. Olex-Szczytowski has held senior positions in investment and commercial banking in London, New York, Warsaw and Luxembourg. When at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein from 1996 to 2003, he was Managing Director responsible for investment banking in Central Europe, originating and closing transactions valued at over US $22 bn. |
