Press areaFor the fifth year running, the premier Central European real estate conference CEDEM 2005 is being organized in Prague. This year, the dates are Sept. 21 - 23 for this event which brings together hundreds of the most important players on the real estate market in Central Europe. Professionals from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary along with real estate experts from the rest of Europe will converge on Prague to discuss the latest trends on the market. CEDEM is organized by Roberts Publishing Media Group, the publisher of Central European Construction & Investment Journal (CiJ). The goal of CEDEM is to provide a forum for the exchange of experiences and information in a professional, interactive environment. CEDEM will analyze issues affecting the whole of Central Europe in six carefully selected panel discussions featuring leading experts in their fields. Rather than boring its audiences with endless lectures, CEDEM features six lively panel discussions with top experts for each sector. This year, there will be seminars on the office, retail, residential, investment and industrial sectors of Central Europe. The conference is the only annual industry event in the region which brings together such a high level of expertise and raw investment power. CEDEM also offers an equally effective social and networking platform for key players, including an enjoyable gala dinner on the eve of the conference. CEDEM 2005 will take place for the first time in Slovansky dum, in the heart of the city’s high street. All registered delegates will be welcome to attend the invitation-only Gala Opening on the evening of Sept. 21, which has become one of the main fixtures of the social calendar. The conference gets down to business on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. with a Keynote address to delegates. This will be followed by the opening Retail & Leisure panel, an extended coffee break and then the Residential panel beginning at 11:15. Lunch is served from 12:30, with a special workshop on Risk Management taking place 1:30. The afternoon session gets underway at 2:30 pm, with the Investment Panel. In the evening, along with other events taking place in the city, there are two invitation-only parties being held in conjunction with CEDEM, sponsored by King Sturge and First Title. On Friday, Sept. 23, there are once again two panels at 9:30 and at 11:15, with a long networking/coffee break at 10:30. The afternoon session at 2:30 will focus on some of the biggest and most important development going on in Central Europe. |
