Richard has become Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis in Prague on 1 July 2007.
He has 10 years experience working in the commercial property market in the Czech Republic. Richard worked for 7 years for Cushman & Wakefield in Prague spending 4 years working in the property management team and a further three years working in office agency.
In 2003 he joined CB Richard Ellis as Head of Agency, taking over an existing office agency team and charged with the setting up of an industrial and retail agency teams. While working in property management he was responsible for a portfolio in excess of 100,000 sqm of retail, office and residential property. As an office leasing agent he has been responsible for the successful leasing of such landmark projects as Raiffeisen Centrum, Prague 4 and The Forum, Prague 1 and is currently responsible for the leasing of Office Park Nové Butovice and Smíchov Gate in Prague 5, Lighthouse, Prague 7 and the City Project in Prague 4.
On the tenants side he has represented such companies as Sun Microsystems, Lego, Amcico AIG Life, GE Money Bank and Rockwell in lease acquisitions and Nortel and Ericsson in lease renegotiations.
In Richard's capacity as Head of Industrial Agency he has overall responsibility for the leasing of in excess of 300,000 sqm of warehouse space throughout the Czech Republic. He is also responsible for the acquisitions of all new petrol filling station sites for Exxon mobile throughout the Czech Republic. Richard holds an Honours degree in Human Resource Management and Accounting from National College of Ireland (Formally NCIR). |
