Rabih El Fadel, executive partner at Zero Energy First, is an energy and building services engineer with 20 years experience. Rabih worked nationally and internationally on the design of low energy buildings (DAIWA – London, World Trade Centre – Canary Warf), and River City Prague Buildings (Danube House, Nile House and Amazon Court House). Before setting up ZEF, Rabih was Associate Director of Building Engineering at Battle McCarthy Ltd, where he was responsible for the conceptual design, design development and delivery of innovative office, commercial and educational buildings including: Evelyn Lowe School, London; The Devonshire Building at Newcastle University and River City Prague, Danube House which received the RIBA award for best low-energy building in Prague in 2003. Currently Rabih is involved in the environmental work of the 80 hectare master plan for Le Parc des Portes de Paris with KPF, phase 3 of the Amazon Court in Prague, Crystal Palace Park, IFI Issam Fares Institute in the American University of Beirut and also the Žižkov master plan in Prague. |
