Damian HarringtonHead of Research CEECB Richard Ellis

Damian Harrington joined London Residential Research/London Property Research in 1999 as an Investment Analyst. He was instrumental in developing the groups' database products and services, including their annual publication ‘The Red Book', viewed by the Financial Times as a ‘developers bible' for the London development industry.

In 2001 he was appointed as consultant for the group, responsible for the initiation and management of assignments. This ranged from site specific project analysis and feasibility studies on behalf of private clients to strategic policy and capacity reviews on behalf of government and the public sector. This included significant projects produced for the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Mayor for London, notably the ‘London Office Policy Review' and the review of ‘Mixed-Use Development and Affordable Housing Policy' produced in conjunction with CB Richard Ellis in 2004. In mid 2004 he worked with CB Richard Ellis as a consultant on a large-scale mixed-use development project in the Middle East. At end 2004 he was appointed as Head of Research for CB Richard Ellis Middle East. Following a successful 1.5 years developing the business in Dubai he transferred to Prague to take over as Head of Research for CB Richard Ellis in Central and Eastern Europe.

Damian graduated in 2002 with an MSc in European Property Development and Planning from the Bartlett School, University College London, where he subsequently acted as visiting lecturer on the MSc programme from 2002 - 2005.
