Jan KaslDirectorBest Development
Born in 1951 in Prague, Jan Kasl studied architecture at ČVUT in the Czech capital, graduating in 1976. From 1977 – 1990, he worked in the DRUPOS design studio, entering local politics in Prague 1 in 1990 and was elected to the Prague city assembly. From 1998 – 2002, he was the mayor of Prague. He was a founding member of the architectural studio A projekt, which he left after becoming mayor. In 2007, he resumed his original profession and founded Best Development, which will focus on high quality, individual projects. Along with making regular contributions to local trade publications, he assumed leadership of the Czech branch of the EUROPAN organization in 2006.
