Christian Nickels-Teske is Director of Real Estate Structured Finance at Aareal Bank AG, based in Germany and is responsible for the operations of Real Estate Structured Finance/Logistics Finance global lending activities. He has extensive experience in single country portfolio and cross-border (Pan-European/Pan-Asian) facility structuring and has also participated in the structuring of mortgage loans for investors guided by the principles of Sharia-compliant investing. Prior to this, he originated loans and arranged structured debt facilities in the United States and Canada for Aareal Bank AG for various real estate assets including hotels and shopping centres.
