Heitman
David's international research responsibilities include investment strategy development, market targeting, and investment underwriting. He is a member of the international investment committee and the valuation committee. His domestic research responsibilities relate to real estate and the capital markets, with a focus on mezzanine and debt finance. Prior to joining Heitman, David worked as a real estate investment consultant with QuietDeals and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to that, he was a pension investment consultant at Ennis, Knupp & Associates. David's research has appeared in numerous journals, including Investment Policy, Financial Analysts Journal, Real Estate Issues and Journal of Real Estate Research. He has spoken at industry conferences, including ERES, ARES, NCREIF, NAREIM, and RERI. David earned a BA degree from Amherst College (Hons.) and an MBA degree in finance and statistics from the University of Chicago. He earned the CFA designation in 1992, is a member of the CFA Institute and is a Fellow of the Homer Hoyt Institute. |
