Martin Polak
Market Officer for Czech Republic & Slovakia ProLogis Inc.
Martin Polak is Market Officer for Czech Republic & Slovakia for ProLogis Inc., the leading owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, focused on global and regional markets across the Americas, Europe and Asia. At this position he is responsible for all Prologis’ development and leasing activities in Czech and Slovak markets and supervises the operations of project management, property management and finance departments in both countries. He joined Prologis in 2008 as Leasing Manager for Slovakia. Prior to joining Prologis, Polak previously worked for the IPEC Group, where he held the position of Manager for logistics and industrial facilities. He has extensive industry knowledge and experience from management, coordination and construction of warehouse and logistics projects. Martin Polak graduated from the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava with a degree in Economics and Building Industry Management. He has been continuing his studies at the same university in a PhD programme at the connoisseurship institute of Faculty of Civil Engineering.
