Kim Politzer
European Research Director Invesco Real Estate
Kim joined Invesco Real Estate’s (IRE) global research team in October 2006 and works in the European research department based in London. Prior to this, Kim was a director of the research department at Atisreal Ltd (now BNP Paribas Real Estate). With over 21 years’ experience, Kim began her career as a site researcher for Tesco before moving to Weatherall Green & Smith (which became Atisreal) as a senior research analyst. Here she was first promoted to associate director and then to director – research. At IRE, Kim is responsible for developing and providing pan-European market and forecast coverage with particular responsibility for the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany and Central and Eastern European regions. She also works closely with the acquisition, asset management and fund management teams to develop focused regional investment strategies. Kim has an MSc in Econometrics & Forecasting from London Metropolitan University and an MA in Geography from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the Society of Property Researchers, Society of Business Economists and the Market Research Society.
